Dr. Paul B. Dean, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.A.D.
Dr. Dean attended the University of California in San Francisco and earned his medical degree 1968. His interests in public health led him to train in epidemiology at the Center for Disease Control after completing a one-year residency in internal medicine. During his time at the CDC, he participated in a variety of epidemic research and public health undertakings. This eventually led him to obtaining a master’s degree in public health from the UCLA School of Public Health. Dr. Dean was certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 1976 and has been practicing clinical dermatology in La Mesa, California since that time. He treats a variety of skin conditions with a specific interest in the treatment of skin cancer and sunlight-induced lesions. For over 25 years, Dr. Dean has been involved in the development of skin care products. In 2007, he launched SkinResource.MD L.L.C., a full line of products formulated to reverse, prevent and control the signs of aging.
Dr. Robert E. Bushman, M.D., F.A.A.D.
Dr. Bushman attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and graduated from the University Of Southern California School of Medicine in Los Angeles in 1973. He is double board certified in Dermatology and in Dermatopathology, (the interpretation of skin biopsies). Dr. Bushman has extensive training and expertise in all aspects of dermatology, including cosmetic dermatology and dermatologic surgery. Dr. Bushman specializes in the removal of moles and skin cancers and prides himself in his “painless mole removal” technique. In 1992, he was one of the first physicians in San Diego to utilize BOTOX for cosmetic purposes and enjoys combining BOTOX treatments with filler agents to provide patients with a non-surgical option for looking more youthful. Dr. Bushman also utilizes various laser techniques to resurface sun-damaged and aging skin. In addition, he has more than 20 years of experience in injection techniques for the elimination of spider veins (sclerotherapy) and varicose veins. Dr. Bushman is the past President and fellow of the San Diego Society of Dermatologic Surgery. He is a member of the Botox National Education Faculty. Dr. Bushman has also received the Excellence in Teaching Award from the University of California San Diego.
Dr. Maki Christine Goskowicz, M.D.,F.A.A.D.
Dr. Goskowicz is a graduate of Stanford University and received her M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine. She completed her internship at Mercy Hospital in San Diego and her residency and chief residency at the University of California San Diego Medical Center. Dr. Goskowicz specializes in cosmetic dermatology, general dermatology and skin cancer treatment, including Mohs micrographic surgery. Dr. Goskowicz is experienced in cosmetic dermatology and is pleased to offer her patients a variety on non-surgical treatment options for a more youthful appearance. Dr. Goskowicz performs Botox injections and works with a variety of dermal filler agents such as Juvederm and Juvederm Voluma. She is proficient with a number of laser procedures for skin rejuvenation. Dr. Goskowicz is past President of the San Diego Society of Dermatologic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and American Society for Mohs Surgery. She volunteers actively at the VA hospital of La Jolla.
Dr. Christopher V. Crosby, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.A.D.
Dr. Crosby is a graduate of Duke University and received his M.D. and Ph.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC in 2005. Dr. Crosby completed his Dermatology residency at Emory University where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Crosby then completed an ACGME accredited Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Procedural Dermatology at the University of California San Francisco. He specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstructive surgery for the treatment of skin cancers. Dr. Crosby is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery. He is the current president of the San Diego Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
